Introducing New Leadership for JETHE
Dear JETHE Authors, Reviewers, and Users,
We are excited to announce new leadership for the Journal of Effective Teaching in Higher Education (JETHE): Drs. Jacquelyn Lee and Nadine Gibson from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW) will be serving as the new co-editors of JETHE. Both Jacquelyn and Nadine have extensive experience with teaching and learning as well as with the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL)--and under their leadership we expect to continue to see JETHE grow in its impact to serve an interdisciplinary and international community of SoTL scholars. Please join us in welcoming them to the journal!
With that, both Tony Atkins and I (James DeVita) will be stepping down from our roles as co-editors. Having served the journal for 6+ years, I have been amazed in the interest in the journal from an audience that truly reflects the community we had always hoped to serve. In fact, the tremendous interest in the journal is one reason why we're excited for new leadership that will also bring additional opporutnities for leadership from a broader network of SoTL scholars. I'm excited for Jacquelyn and Nadine to bring their vision to the journal and to continue to serve as a reviewer and board member.
Thanks for your continued support of JETHE and more from the journal's new leadership soon.
Best,
James and Tony
